Scope of Works:

Our scope of works was to carry out the asbestos removal works and demolition of the former engineering units which were demolished to make way for the factory extension.

 

Works also involved the controlled demolition of asbestos clad roofing which was double sheeted with the fixing bolts driven info timber roof beams.  The works were completed under NNLW ASB1 notification to the HSE and there was also a daily attendance by UKAS accredited laboratory carried out air monitoring.

 

All asbestos waste was removed from site where it was taken for disposal at Viridor landfill site in Bury.  Of the remaining waste materials generated 95% of the materials were recycled.
