1 Central Street, Manchester

We were engaged by TJM Projects to carry out the complete internal soft strip to floors 4, 2, 1 and Ground of the Grade II listed former office block located in Manchester City Centre.

 

Our works comprised of the removal and disposal of all loose and fixed furniture, all floor wall and ceiling finishes, demolition of non-loadbearing walls, timber raised access floors throughout together with insulation layers between floors along with removal of all electrical, mechanical and MEP systems together with fixings etc.

 

All materials were removed from the building and placed within 40yd skips in a wait and load operation carried out to the rear of the building so as not to disrupt the flow of traffic to Central Street.

 

Works were carried out over a 12 week period with an average of 8-10 men on site at all times.
